What am I doing here ? 2 years ago I was saving lives in a busy London Emergency department .......

I accidently fell into the world of Radio.

I was born in Hull just after dinosaurs became extinct and always loved music so working on the radio is just a dream job.

I had been nursing for 20 years and after living in Germany and all over the UK , i moved to London in 2000 to do trauma nursing , but due to illness, had to retire from nursing 2 years ago and although i battled the big C and am back fighting fit again , i decided life had more to offer and by chance started helping my son on his Internet Radio station , then it progressed to me being asked to do voiceovers for other stations. From the voiceovers i was approached to do a few live shows and the rest is history ....

From Nurse to DJ ... an unlikely transition but i'm really lovin' it . As they say , its never too late , my only regret is i didnt start when i was much younger and still had all my own teeth and hair ( just kidding.... honest)
