| My life story so far
I was born in Melbourne, Australia in 1965. My parents emigrated to there in the 1950's , we all came back to England in 1968 on a ship called the Fairsky into Southampton, the same voyage which the Bee Gees made in 1967. I was educated firstly at Chamberlayne Road Boys School in Eastleigh ( Hampshire ) from 1970 till 1977 , I then went to Alderman Quilley Secondary School until 1982. I have always had an interest in radio ever since listening to Radio Luxembourg and Radio One ( when it was good .!!) . I've had various jobs including cycle repairing , painting , and did a stint on British Rail . I built my first disco unit when i was 18 while i was a record librarian at Winchester Hospital Radio and started gigging when i was 19 , had a break in 1989 to do hospital radio again but in Southampton where i did various shows until landing the Tuesday night request show . A house move to Peterborough saw me having to give it up but i re launched my mobile disco gigging all round Cambridgeshire and Fenland until an old back injury put me into retirement. In 2003 i saw an advert on the uk radio forums for presenters, so i sent a demo and now present the Soul and Dance show on Saturdays from 7 - 10 on Ace FM 106.8.
